Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to Vend VTU (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The operator should add its legal entity name, business address and any location-specific terms before treating this template as final.

1. Eligibility and account information

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and use the relevant payment or bill services in your location. You are responsible for providing accurate account details, protecting your sign-in credentials and transaction PIN, and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorized access. One person must not impersonate another person or create accounts to evade service restrictions.

2. Service features

The service may allow users to fund a wallet, buy airtime or data, pay supported bills, request virtual accounts, manage account details and view transaction records. Available features, providers, prices, limits and supported locations may change. A displayed service is not a guarantee that every provider, recipient, network or transaction will be available at all times.

3. Payments, wallet and orders

Review the recipient, service, amount, fees and other details before confirming a transaction. You authorize us to submit a confirmed instruction and debit the applicable wallet or payment method for the displayed amount. Funding may take time to be confirmed. A transaction may be delayed, declined, reversed, held for review or marked pending while we or a provider investigate its status. Do not submit the same payment again solely because a confirmation is delayed; first check your transaction history or contact support with the reference.

Provider performance and settlement can depend on third parties. If a transaction fails after a debit, any reversal or refund will be handled according to the transaction status, provider information and applicable law. You remain responsible for checking that the recipient and account details are correct.

4. Fees and pricing

Prices, fees and applicable taxes are shown or made available before confirmation where practicable. We may update pricing prospectively. A provider or bank may impose separate charges under its own terms. If a displayed amount appears incorrect, do not proceed; contact support.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for fraud, money laundering, unlawful payments, harassment, security attacks, account abuse, unauthorized access, or activity that violates another person's rights or applicable law. Do not interfere with the service, bypass limits or controls, reverse engineer protected components, submit false identity information, or use another person's payment or identity details without authority.

6. Identity checks and compliance

We or our providers may request identity or other information where needed for account security, fraud prevention, payment processing or legal requirements. Information submitted for verification must be accurate and belong to you. We may restrict a feature or account while a required check is incomplete or under review, subject to applicable law.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, network issues, security events, provider outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect access. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features. Where practical, we will provide notice for material changes.

8. Suspension and termination

We may limit or suspend access if reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or security issues, comply with law, collect information needed for a required check, or address a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request review. You may stop using the service and request account closure through the available account controls or support. Closing an account does not erase transaction records that must be retained by law or to resolve disputes.

9. Third-party services

The service may rely on banks, payment processors, identity services and bill or telecom providers. Their products may be subject to separate terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party services, except where applicable law says otherwise.

10. Intellectual property

The service, its software, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to the operator and protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended lawful purpose. You may not copy or commercially exploit protected content without permission.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided subject to these Terms and may depend on third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent the law permits, the operator is not responsible for indirect loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. These terms do not limit responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct or any liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

12. Complaints and disputes

Please contact support first with your account details and transaction reference, without sharing your password or PIN. Any governing law, regulator, complaint route or dispute-resolution process must be completed by the operator for the applicable business and jurisdiction before this template is published as final.

13. Updates and contact

We may revise these Terms and publish the updated version here. Continued use after an update takes effect means the revised Terms apply to future use, to the extent permitted by law. Questions can be sent to the Support page or raised through Support.

Account deletion requests

You can request account deletion after signing in by opening Settings → Delete account. A submitted request is reviewed before completion, and you may cancel it while it is awaiting review using the option shown in Settings. Before deletion can be completed, outstanding wallet balances may need to be settled and pending purchases resolved. On completion, access is disabled and personal profile information is anonymised where permitted; financial and transaction records may remain in restricted or anonymised form when needed for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, ledger-integrity or dispute-resolution purposes. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
